We’re delighted to welcome two new team members this month, and thought you’d like to know a little more about them…
Anyone for a magic pocket watch?
Amy Sage has joined us as our new Business Operations Manager. She previously headed up business operations at an education consultancy company and is now looking forward to a fresh challenge here at Gibbons. The variety of work available with our eleven divisions was something that particularly appealed to her.
If Amy had a superpower, she would pick the ability to stop time! She got the idea from watching ‘Bernard’s Watch’ as a child and wouldn’t mind a magic pocket watch of her own.
If she was going to die tomorrow, Amy would have lasagne for her last dinner – but it has to be extra cheesy!
Loki the border collie!
Our second new recruit is Lee Bull, who has joined us as a Field Sales Engineer. He has the perfect background, previously working as a sales engineer, and was even an engineer himself before that! He sold CNC machine tools in his last job and fancied a change working for a company involved in a different type of engineering.
Lee has a son and daughter and three border collies – Lexi, Codi and Loki!
He runs a karaoke night at his local pub each month – known as Bull-aoke – and his go-to karaoke song is ‘Gold’ by Spandau Ballet. He might also sing you some of The Killers if you ask nicely.
